These are the ingredients you’ll need for your Vietnamese grilled pork skewers:

  • 2 Lbs. Ground Pork – divided into 2 x 1 lbs. batches
  • 5-6 Pairs Disposable Chopsticks

Marinade #1:

  • 1.5 Tsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 2 Tsps. Mushroom Seasoning
  • ½ Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Corn Starch
  • 3 Tbsps. Cold Water
  • 2 Tbsps. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

Marinade #2:

  • ¼ Tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 3 Tbsps. Honey
  • 2 Tbsps. Minced Garlic

Notes

As you can see, most of the ingredients are pantry staples that are really easy to find! I like to use natural organic honey for the best results. Home-grown garlic would be wonderful too if you have it.
